VIRTUAL EYE – MoveAssistant is an application developed by Transition Technologies S.A. in order to support blind and visually impaired people in everyday life. MoveAssistant provides advanced geo-location and navigation features as well as current weather reports.

In the process of the development, main emphasis was put on the ease of access and use for the visually impaired. We have used the most modern technological solutions along with advanced accessibility system created by Apple, speech recognition system by Nuance i.e. the technology that has given birth to renowned Siri tool. VIRTUAL EYE – MoveAssistant allows the users to use their voice in order to find their location, plan a route or ask the application about directions, and much more. Voice commands provide wide variety of functions. VIRTUAL EYE – MoveAssistant gives the users possibility to create a list of favorite places and inform them whenever they are close to their points of interest. Application uses Loadstone localization database, created by the visually impaired, as well as well known OpenStreetMaps.

VIRTUAL EYE – MoveAssistant has been developed in close co-operation visually impaired people in order to address their needs as well as possible.
